2nd CHANCE DRAWINGS
The Illinois Lottery shall conduct two (2) drawings to award four (4) Trip Prizes per drawing, for a total of eight (8) Trip Prizes. Entry deadlines are January 11, 2023 at 11:59 PM CT and May 31, 2023 at 11:59 PM CT.
The Prizewinners shall be notified by the Illinois Lottery and must complete a claim form.
These prizes are subject to applicable taxes and withholdings and/or any monies due the Commonwealth. No cash equivalent of the Trip Prizes will be awarded, and the Trip Prize is not exchangeable or otherwise transferable.
The Trip Prize is a four-day, three-night trip for the prizewinners (each a “Prizewinner”) and (1) guest to Las Vegas, Nevada to occur on or about Fall of 2023 and is subject to change without prior notice.
EACH TRIP PRIZE INCLUDES:
- Round-trip coach airfare for up to two (2) people from any U.S. International airport, within the 48 contiguous U.S. states (excluding Alaska and Hawaii), to McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas (inclusive of all associated security fees, taxes and surcharges);
- All ground transfers between McCarran International Airport and the assigned destination hotel, if applicable, and if necessary, to/from SGI-hosted events;
- One (1) double occupancy accommodations (room and room tax only) at a 3-star or better hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada for three (3) nights;
- One thousand dollars ($1,000) spending money, for the Trip Prize winner, to be provided two (2) weeks prior to the scheduled trip departure date;
Admission to COME ON DOWN Challenge (the “CHALLENGE”) theater/venue for the Prizewinner and guest, and the Prizewinner, or duly authorized proxy, shall have one (1) chance to participate in the CHALLENGE to win a Prize from one thousand dollars ($1,000) up to fifty million dollars ($50,000,000) as further described in the Official Challenge Details;
The Prizewinner’s guest may sit with the Prizewinner but will not be eligible to be a participant in the CHALLENGE unless the guest has been appointed as the Prizewinner’s proxy;
You must be 21 or older to participate in the CHALLENGE. State of Nevada rules for certain venues in Las Vegas prohibit persons under 21 to enter their facilities unless accompanied by a person 21 years or older. If you are unable to participate because of age or for any other reason, a proxy will be designated;
The Prizewinner will be provided the opportunity to appoint a proxy or a proxy shall be appointed. Proxy rules are outlined below. Proxy selections are subject to the following:
- 1. Any Prizewinner under the age of 21 may designate a proxy who must be at least 21. Such designation must be made to Lottery, in writing, not less than ten (10) weeks prior to the CHALLENGE.
- 2. If the Prizewinner elects to appoint his or her own proxy, that proxy cannot be modified or changed by the Prizewinner. If the proxy appointed by the Prizewinner is revoked or unable to serve, for any reason whatsoever, a substitute proxy shall be appointed by MDI;
- 3. Any Prizewinner under the age of 21 may attend the CHALLENGE if accompanied by his or her designated proxy into the State of Nevada and at all times throughout the trip;
- 4. Prizewinners shall be required to comply with the Department of Homeland Security’s REAL ID program and all other programs to attend the Event. For more information, please see: https://www.dhs.gov/real-id.
- 5. Prizewinners will be mailed the final Challenge Details concerning the CHALLENGE prior to their departure
- 6. A player may not win more than one (1) Trip Prize per THE PRICE IS RIGHT™ 2nd Chance Drawing;
The COME ON DOWN Challenge is administered by MDI Entertainment, LLC and Scientific Games International, Inc. Any questions regarding the Challenge including questions regarding the assignment of proxies, prize payments, and tax liability or withholding for Prizes, should be directed by MDI Entertainment, LLC at 1-800-201-0108. Participation in the Challenge may be subject to other local, state, and federal laws, including the laws of the State of Nevada.
